Equity in Investment – Choosing your tier
We are committed to offering trainings, mentorships and opportunities that are of the highest quality, affordable and accessible while striving to keep equity and mutual exchange at the soul of how we serve.
We recognize that we live in systems of inequity and we strive to find ways of finding balance within this. We feel that the deepest engagement and greatest benefit comes when there is a meaningful mutual exchange.
For these reasons, we offer tiered pricing. There is an invitation to reflect on your access to resources and privilege, the value of this work, what you can genuinely afford, and what you might pay for comparable training programs. By committing to what is truly within your means you make it possible for others to show up within theirs and we are all grateful for this.

What is Trauma Informed?
Trauma-informed means taking into account past trauma and the resulting coping mechanisms when attempting to understand the behaviours of those we are working alongside. It means bringing empathy and compassion to every interaction and creating a safe and accessible space for all.
Why is Trauma Informed so important?
Stress and trauma can exist on a continuum and because of that, it is extremely important to understand this in the context of our past, today's world, and the future we want to work towards. This training gives you insight into individual and collective trauma, systemic causes of harm and trauma, as well as social justice and change-focused approaches. We explore how we can understand and integrate our own experience as well as how we can hold space for and walk alongside others. This training places an immense emphasis on knowing that we are not here to fix, change, or heal anyone else, but to be somatic witnesses and creative forces as we offer support along the way. Learn tools necessary for your own reflection and growth as well as ones to offer others regardless of the field or industry you work within and the people you work with.
The body holds trauma to different degrees and complexities. As a facilitator, you are creating space for individuals to explore and connect with their breath, body and mind. Therefore it is important to be sure we are able to hold students in the wholeness of their experience, understand what may be happening for them on a physiological and neurological level, without needing to alter or change their experience. We are here to bear witness, allow, and hold space for transformation in their own time and way.
Trauma not only impacts how an individual functions and navigates the world, it influences how they relate to others and how communities relate to them. It impacts our society as a whole; institutions, systems, and structures have been built through trauma and continue to perpetuate it. In order to disrupt the cycle we must learn the nuances of how trauma shows up in the mind, body, and all interactions and dynamics. Becoming trauma-informed is a paradigm shift, it means seeing each person in their full diversity and intersectionality and allow them the dignity to evolve, heal, and transform. Through this, we begin to work towards the types of workplaces, systems, and institutions that we want to see; ones that are human-centred and equity-driven.
This is a space to show up in a place of curiosity to understand how trauma may show up in the body, how it may manifest in different situations and experiences. You will leave with a practical and embodied ability to move forward in a growth based way.
Through a better understanding of the body and how it is affected during certain circumstances and events (mentally, physically and emotionally), we as humans are able to ultimately return ourselves back to a balanced state of living, thus breaking the pattern of stress, anxiety, and eventually trauma within ourselves, our community and our globe.
