The 20hr Special Abilities Facilitator Training is designed to begin the process of working with individuals who have special needs and are handi-capable learners as well as with groups who might present a variety of physical and cognitive abilities. These populations might include men, women, youth and the LGBTQI+ community. Through focused discussions, one on one mentorship, and exploring best practices in the field participants will learn the challenges and rewards of facilitating within communities of special needs and abilities. This online training will prepare participants for volunteer and work opportunities both domestically and abroad with Legacy Motion programs and projects that specifically focus on individuals with special abilities, as well as assisting in the creation of new programs in communities that participants are interested in facilitating.
